Hello lovely people!

Hayden here again and it has been another hot minute. I've been enjoying my stay here in Houston, Texas, and I wanted to let you all know what it's been like during my month and a half stay, what I did while I was here, and what I'm doing next!

Buh buh.

First off, I have to give a huuuuuuuge shoutout to my brother from another mother, Josh Frasier. I've known Josh for going on around ten years now, since high school, and he's been bothering me for years to come and hang with him in Houston. When my travel plans for the year were set, he came through with a place for me to park the trailer. It's been a blast to get to live with him and actually work with him on some projects for my family's business. Love you brother!

Alright, now onto my time in Houston. H-Town has been a cool place to crash at. I started my trip here helping out Rex DeGuzman with his setup at the 2021 Houston Fishing Show last April. I got my first taste of the types of events I'll be representing Los Buzos at. Had a great time and learned a lot about my new job as a marketing director, a job that has a lot of different hats to wear.

After that, I spent most of the month chilling out, working on projects for Los Buzos, and experiencing what Houston does best........FOOD. This place is a mecca for foodies, and my friend Josh is a foodie galore. I couldn't tell you all the different places I've eaten over this last month, but I can tell you it has been some of the best eats I've ever had.

Here are some highlights of my favorite food spots in Houston:

Migo Saigon Street Food

Some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten. I had the Migo, a broth and noodle dish very similar to Pho, but the broth is the real star of the show. They have a bunch of different combos you can try and a variety of delicious Vietnamese street food.

Heads up, their butterfly tea limeade is out of this world and very Instagram-worthy

Maharaja Bhog

Alright, so I've had some pretty great vegetarian meals staying in Houston. The owner of the house I've been parked at is vegetarian and has made some great meals. But Maharaja Bhog took the cake for vegetarian eats.

It's an Indian restaurant that serves a variety of vegetarian Indian dishes almost like in the style of a Brazilian steakhouse. Servers come around with spiced curries, flatbreads, rice, and so on, and divvy out anything you want on this plate and bowl set in front of you. My favorite was dipping the flatbread in the yellow curry with a little bit of rice. Can't be beaten.

Tiger Sugar

Wow. I've had a lot of Boba tea, but this place was killer. It's actually a small chain that has an original location in New York. The one here in Houston is just as good. My recommendation is the Coffee Latte combo with boba and boba pearls.

Sweet, chewy, great late-night dessert drink for on-the-go enjoyment.

That's just to name a few. If you're a foodie then Houston is the place for you to go.

Where Am I Now? Where Am I Going Next?

Currently, I am parked in Grand Isle, Louisiana. I have scouted out the location for the Ride

The Bull Tournament, a huge kayak fishing tournament where Los Buzos will be setting up a booth later this August. It's a great Gulf Coast Island with sun, sand, and sweet times. I got to go on my first fishing trip in over 6 years, where I caught a 30lb Redfish thanks to the family who I was parked next to at my RV site!

While I was in Houston I got to sit down and work with my Dad on where we wanted to go this year? The majority of my visits will be to fishing tournaments, travel events, industry expos, and similar events to promote Los Buzos. Along the way, I'm hoping to see friends, family, fellow travelers, and put some real miles on my soul. A big impetus for this trip outside of work is to take the opportunity to travel, something I've been craving since the beginning of this year.

My current route is taking me East and then up North through the end of June. I'm working my way over to Navarre, Florida for The Goat Kayak Fishing Tournament!

I'll be putting together a full map of my route once I get some details locked down.

Until then, I'm hauling on and having a great time! Hoping to get these posts out on a regular weekly basis, maybe some videos along the way with my new GoPro camera! Be on the lookout for my video of Grand Isle!

Carpe the fuck outta all these diems folks!
